Litchi Tomato or Morelle De Balbis is a fierce fruit. It's leaves and husks are so riddled with large and tiny thorns that no animals are crazy enough to go near the plants - except for me ;) I discovered that the fruit tastes like tart cherries with a raspberry texture. Despite their dangerous defenses, inside is a delicious treasure. Perhaps there's another yoga lesson from nature here. When the fruit is ripe it's husk will open and ready fruit will fall off easily. Dangerous exteriors often reveal glorious interiors, if approached in a mindfully but only when they're ready to open up. #litchitomato #strangefruit #organicgardening #yogalessons #lessonsfromnature #pbyogi
