International Day of Peace 21 September

Happy International Day of Peace! The UN is using this day to promote its 17 Sustainable Development Goals to Improve Life All Around The Globe. If there is 1-thing -- actually 3-things, for most of us -- we can do TODAY to make a positive difference in ALL 17 goals, that thing is leaving animals off our plates. Even if it's just for one meal, if all of us do it everyday, it makes a huge difference. Our food choices are inextricably connected to the health, well-being, and peace of ALL life, people, animals, and our planet. http://ift.tt/QYma1m "Every single one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals is a building block in the global architecture of peace. It is critical that we mobilise means of implementation, including financial resources, technology development and transfer, and capacity-building, as well as the role of partnerships. Everyone has a stake and everyone has a contribution to make."
